Twipunk

A largely experimental drawing, being one of four heads on a page I'm currently drawing ideas on. It's a mix of regular and mechanical pencil strokes to see which I prefer for outlines and which I prefer for shading. The image size is smaller as a result, as I had to chop this finished drawing away from the rest of the page.

As for the subject of the drawing herself, I for one hope we get to see Twilight's new manestyle more often, even though animating something like that would be a pain in the ass which is probably why it didn't get much screen time. Season 5 is meeting all my expectations for pony and I'm loving it!
